Prime Minister JOHN HOWARD says he's not bothered that a senior Indonesian MP is planningto boycott a meeting with him in Jakarta today.

Mr HOWARD says he's not troubled by the apparent snub from National Assembly speakerAMIEN RAIS, who's said he objects to Australia's meddling in Indonesia's domestic affairs.

However, sources say his planned call on Indonesia's parliament will be cancelled,with Parliamentary speaker AKBAR TANJUNG also expected to boycott the meeting.
